Chickens really loud in morning - would remote citronella spray help?

My coop or house is also fully contained in a secure run. So the chooks just let themselves out in the morning. Then I bought one of those Timer-feeders for small pets and it opens really early in the morning to give them a small snack (and to keep the cluckin down

until I get out there to feed everyone. I also use (lots) of Sound Board placed around the area, added more plants/vines, 2 fountains and a radio. Still can hear them but its better.

I have an automatic door opener/closer on the coop. Closes at dark and opens at dawn. My girls come out of the coop at dawn into the run but since I've introduced 2 pullets, the older girls are always harrassing those two in the run non-stop. I don't get up till 8AM to let them out and I felt so guilty for those little ones. My DH has bought some pulleys and 2x4's and says he will install a second door onto the existing opener that will allow the run to be opened/closed along with the coop! I'm so happy!! This will solve alot of issues if I don't make it home till after dark AND I get to sleep in!
