I'm new to chicken ownership. I've posted a few questions arnd received good resposes. I have 2 Light Brahma's who started laying in December in Upstate New York. My problem is I have been using sand inside and out in the covered run. I got construction sand and it is VERY DUSTY. The girls have dirty nostrils and seem to be sneezing. I've taken the sand out of the coop and put down KleenKoop. Great stuff. now I have put KleenKoop in the outdoor run also. Should I clean their nostrils, and how. Their feathers are dirty on their chests from dusting in this sand. Should I leave them or bath them. 2 eggs a day, delicious.......

Hello! Apple cider vinegar helps with respiratory problems. What kind of bedding do you use? We use pine shavings and we have not had any breathing problems but I think some have. I hope this helps!
