I am almost as far south as you can get in Illinois. Down in the Shawnee National Forest.

I did quite a bit in the military. Too much to list here. I was field artillery and special operations. I retired in 1999.

very nice dacjohns. i am a navy specwar vet as well, i got out in 97 and am from teh marion / crab orchard lake area, i know shawnee forest well.
