Chickens vs. Flower beds: There has to be a happy ending????

Deer netting can be cut into 3.5' high sections, and placed around the garden beds with light wt. fiberglass posts. My chickens are totally perplexed by the stuff and haven't figured out that they could jump over it if they wanted to.

I think we have that around the koi pond. The ducks kept getting into the pond with the fish and that has stopped them. The ducks have two baby pools but they preferred swimming with the fish more. I just have the problem of trying to climb over when I need to get to something.
