We have found they are just really curious. Sometimes I think they think people are some sort of weird chicken, and they want to do the same thing we are doing! We have them come in the house frequently; they can only stay for a minute or two before we usher them back out, but it does make a funny picture. Recently I left my van open; all the doors and the hatch; while we were unloading groceries. When I came out again four hens were sitting inside the van in the back, and the dog was in the driver's seat! I wish they'd stayed still long enough for us to get a picture!
