If there is an egg that was "in progress", she may still lay it. All the hens may go on a break from laying because of the stress. Chickens are pretty resilient. You are doing all the right things, and they should be O. K. If the injured hen tries to lay and appears to have problems, lube her up with some KY jelly or other lubricant. Good luck.

. I don't have a dog myself, but when a dog invaded in my yard sometime ago, i was chasing it with an axe to protect both my flock and vegetables.
