Chickens with bad appetite -- lost 3 last night

I agree with cafarmgirl,i would look at a possible coccidiosis overload/outbreak. Some symptoms are: runny/watery poop(may or may not contain blood, depends on which strain it is)fluffed feathers, lethargic, not eating/drinking properly. Cocci can kill very fast.

I'll buy some corid treatment today!.

try dipping a banana slice in garlic and feeding the chickens each one piece that will worm them and you don't have to stop eating the eggs

I agree that they need more room and it could be cocci, and I would treat with Corid for 5 days. Then give 3 days of vitamins and probiotics. Then worming with SafeGuard liquid goat wormer 1/2 ml orally for each bird would be a good idea. I think when chickens get to range out on grass, they are less likely to get worms and cocci. Sand would be a good alternative to put in your run. It can be free if you have a creek.
