Chickens without feathers

I was given some chicks and a lot of feathers were gone. Will they grow back the lost feather.

how old are they? can you post some pictures?

They are bout 6-8 weeks old. I have to find a way to put out pictures. The people we got them from said they were all fighting in border. Out of 12 only 2 have all their feathers.

well normally at about 8-12 weeks old chicks molt, but that looks like they were pulled out, did you check for parasites?

We just got them and don't know how to check. They were given to us like that, that is one I put in with blind one

you can look under their feathers under their wings and vent, if you see brown stuff at the base of the feathers or bugs that scurry out of the way then you have parasites and you have to figure out what kind

Ok. Then why did the people tell us they were picking each other? And we were expecting 10 but get 12. And looks like most of them are males. But we are giving 2 of the roosters to my husband's dad. So how many males should we get rid of all together.

they might have been, it's just good to check for parasites anyway
