What I am amazed at is that my darling Scooter , brat, out of the chicken yard, rounded the corner and beat up his son that hasn't even been able to crow.
That rooster and others can look at a bird and know if its a female or not! HOW! ugh, birds don't smell, and with this case, had never been out at the same time! ???
Either way, PRF, it will be interesting to do a project for her next year. I am going to pay attention to Lucys next batch of chicks, see what we can see.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the end of the month!

It was a good day. I have a Ameraucana rooster and a Russian Orloff that need a new home. I wish the Ameraucana to go, if my arm is twisted I have a pullet that can go with him. They are what we call the "twins" and will go free. They are so loving and sweet, the pullet will come to you and ask to be picked up.
They are from Blue parents, yet they are black. Of course I keep asking for someone with a flock of Russian Orloff, I would love to see him used for breeding.
Anyways, at the end of the month is the Augusta Chickenstock! Fun again!!!
I was pretty pleased with everyone and even tho sales weren't great, it was really a super nice day to talk and have questions answered by Bill Morrison. He may work for the state gov, but he seems open, honest and helpful.
