I just went and checked on the birds I will be bringing tomorrow and they all are sleeping comfortably. I was concerned about them after the ride under the toneau cover in the bed of the truck, but the poults and the bunny rode up front with us and everyone is doing great! I am starting to like this black silkie Shay! I wonder if it is a hen??? If it is and you dont want her, I think I might have to keep her, I never thought I would like a silkie with the feathered feet and all but she keeps talking to me. (I keep saying she and it is probably a roo). I am so looking forewar to seeing what everyone is bringing tomorrow! For those traveling have a safe ride in and see you all in the morning!

What an awesome Chickenstock today! I cant believe the number of people set up and the selection was so varied. I wish I had a better set up because there really are so many beautiful birds I want them all! But unfortunately I dont have that kind of set up and really thinned the flock today. I have decided to give hatching one more shot with the 1588. Thanks so much Laura and Chickis Moma for the eggs so I can try this. I will let you know how it goes! The food was soooo good. The pulled pork and the rice and beans, the baked ziti and meatballs...OMG, I thought I was at a wedding for a minute there! Thanks Lisa for the beautiful mottled cochin and the silver sebrite hens. I will quarantine them and then sneek them into the coop at night when they are ready! It was good to see Bob the cage man and Cindy there too because I needed some millet and bowls. I was hoping to see another bunny to take home, I am thinking they are a new addiction for me. I need to make a hutch with 3 or 4 sections so I can get a couple more bunnies! Thank you Howard Acres for the chocolate mint, can you please PM me on how to plant and where?? I will also send you the directions for your little serama hen and hopefully it will work for you. Once again, Great job Shay and Jose, you did a good job fitting everyone in. I cant wait till fall to see how all your crops will be and especially want to by some corn on the cob!

Awesome day! All my roos are gone, and I now am the proud owner of a laying buff brahma hen (she laid soon after she got home lol), a little buff silkie girl, and 4 button quail! Awesome food guys! Hope some of you enjoyed the cans of pepsi I brought (I'm not much of a cook....

We had a great day today!

It was good to see many old friends and make some new ones too. Many thanks to Shay and her dh for hosting these swaps at their place.

My oldest son is tickled that he won the watch in the raffle---hee-hee! Our family is thrilled with the 3 ducks we brought home (thanks Gypsy and Jackie), and our ducks are thrilled with their new home---we have fenced off an area around a section of our stream, and it's perfect for them!

Today was great, so happy so many were able to make it, I have pics i need to upload them in.
It was packed today, soo awsome, great turn out today, it was good seeing every one, sorry if i did get over to say hi to any one, i know i did not, and i missed some, sorry.

Great food every one, i missed out on teh chocolate bannana muffins, i soooo wanted to try those.
