Well I didn't know what to do and didn't know if I should leave in the medicated food, so I went to the local feed store for flock raiser... didn't see that so I grabbed a bag of chick grower crumbles because they are non-medicated. It says 8 weeks to 18 weeks I think. My little ones are 8 weeks so that will work for them. I hope it will be ok for the layer, at least temporarily (probably better than the medicated stuff atleast). I forgot to get oyster shells, so I will do that tomorrow.

Ahhhh he squeezed himself in between the waterer and the side of the big brooder he was in and in doing so pushed the dish it was sitting on out from under it causing the gallon waterer to fall on him!! If I had been home we could have probably saved him but I had to take Jess for her follow up with her doctor from her surgery....this stinks now I have a lone Lemon Blue hen...I guess my bantam coop was not meant to have a roo...

Thank you Shay. Hopefully the medicated food she ate today won't matter. She sat in the nesting box today but... nada. I think she was just hiding in there, not actually egg laying.
