I had a black sex-link hen that started "crowing" after I sold my silkie roo and there were no more boys around to crow. It was far from a real crow. It was just a really loud, sudden "BAAAAAAAAWK!!!". Once I got another roo, she stopped. Too funny.

I wish I had room for more birds - I would love to try some Seramas. Oh well, maybe next year.

And keesmom, your silkies are too cute and precious!

Take care all. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to log in over the next several weeks. I'm having surgery in a week and it's supposed to be a long recovery. I hope I can teach my husband how to take care of the chickens and ducks and rabbits and cats!
