I have a bantam black faverolles pullet that will be going - only 4 toes on each foot unfortunately. I'll probably have one or 2 others on the list (bantam blues or blacks) by the time Shay has her season opener.

not yet. i will probably order them tonight. are there any breeds you might be interested in? i'm also thinking of getting some cuckoo marans to help my project.
I can't think of any I need. I'm cutting the Sussex down to a quad, and other than that I will just have the Favs (bantams, LF salmon and the ermine project). Fav pullets seem to be in demand at the hatcheries this year so I'll be interested in seeing how late you'll get them and how they turn out.

She's about 2-3 months old now (I think closer to 3). The whole bunch is going through that skittish stage right now but I expect her to calm down in another month or so. Too bad she's missing the extra toes, otherwise she's rather nice.
I tried reading through this thread but can't seem to find it - WHEN is the upcoming spring swaP?? where? I'm a newbie chicken owner and would love to come to one of these! Tell me more!! Please??
