I have my canary seed shipped from NH. Shipping is no more than it would be in gas for me to drive there to get it myself.

How many pounds of seed are you getting? I would be getting 50# of pigeon...Oh ya, I only have 2 of them, so maybe not needing that much then at a time! but i liked 2 of those sites I just checked out you sent me. Lots of pigeon stuff, who'da thunk it! LOL

Im looking for snake food, just picked up a beautifful
Emerald Tree Boa.

need birds as food they do not eaat mice and rats.

Oooooo... gorgeous snakes, those are! What size is it? I have a couple young cockerels for free if they're not too big for it. One is a Dominique/Chantecler cross an the other is a straight combed Dominique. They're maybe the size of doves or so right now. I would so love to have a red tailed boa again, but DH doesn't like snakes.

whats funny is i will probably come look at it. ewwwwwwwwww

I for one would LOVE to see the snake! I'm as snake crazy as I am chicken crazy! Unfortunately DH is NOT snake crazy by any means... he tolerates the outdoor wild ones and thinks they're OK, but draws the line at having them inside (although I swear if I come across another milk snake like the one I rescued from my hens a few years back, I'm keeping it whether he likes it or not!

I need basil, my favorite herb
just love the smell and it makes a wonderful pesto over pasta with feta,

and Yes Laura its real.
I wont post the pic here becasue I know Shay is afraid of them.
google Emerald Tree Boa and you will see how stunning they are.
Ball pythons are great for kids, great beginner snake.

You should have gone to the Reptile Expo in Manchester a couple Sundays ago.... two huge rooms FULL of creepy crawlies! Snakes and lizards and all kinds of stuff as far as the eye could see! One dealer had this HUGE black snake that he let all the kids hold... it was so mellow and gorgeous! I wanted one of everything... I ALMOST bought a tortoise, and a chameleon, and a bearded dragon, and a leopard gecko, and a tarantula, and a pueblan milk snake, and a redtailed boa constrictor. But I showed immense restraint and didn't buy anything! Don't know how I was able to accomplish that!

We get our Pigeon food at our local grain store. Do you have any blue seal dealers in your area? That's the supply store we get ours from. Purina does also make a Pigeon Chow, which I have heard is pretty good, haven't talked to TSC about ordering it, cause we have so many other places here we can get it. Also our Away here carries it, not sure what brand. It's very expensive compared to the chicken grain, it runs from $21.00-$29.00 for a 50# bag. We will add other stuff to it also. Our Agway in town also carries it.

Our diamond dovies we feed most anything small like finch/parakeet, they aren't too picky, they will even eat the button quail mix (wild bird/finch) when Sarah gets them mixes up lol.

Kinda like a poultry show?? Never heard of it, maybe a good thing with Sarah. Told her about gypsy's new snake and she went nuts.
