How can you tell gender of a Cochin? I noticed you have some pullets and cockeral cochins, Shay. I have one 6wk old cochin (my first!) and have no idea what to look for.

I will be bringing a few 4wk old Cuckoo Marans, an EE, and a 6 mo. black Silkie.

For the pot luck, I will bring either baked beans or a dessert!

Looks like the rain will hold off for this! Yea-hoooo!!

Do you have a pic of the cochin, i can tell you if you have a boy or a girl.
now the girls do show combs too but not as red as the boys. and smaller than the boys.

the black silkie is a boy or girl?

whats funny is i will probably come look at it. ewwwwwwwwww

I for one would LOVE to see the snake! I'm as snake crazy as I am chicken crazy! Unfortunately DH is NOT snake crazy by any means... he tolerates the outdoor wild ones and thinks they're OK, but draws the line at having them inside (although I swear if I come across another milk snake like the one I rescued from my hens a few years back, I'm keeping it whether he likes it or not!

good when i find more milk snakes you are 3rd on teh list to come get it.

Gypsy bring the snake, i am ok with it as long as it is not crawling next to me, i dont mind looking at them, but i am still creeped out about them but not to the extent,
AND DONT FEED IT CHICKEN IN FRONT OF ME

yes i am toooooooooooooooo soft for that, i cant even feed a mouse to anything.

i was thinking onm asking if the geese can eat feeder fish and then i felt bad (for the feeder fish) lol

I'll get new pics today and load 'em a bit later.
thanks!

I think the silkie is a boy.

Laura, wouldn't you know it. Both splash salmons are boys. I'd take a picture of them to show you what they look like but I'm not sure you'd really get to see their coloring.

LOL I understand.
there is a huge issue with letting this type of snake run around loose, ya dont do it!
this snake has the potential to require stitches if anyone is bitten. The teeth are not snake teeth, If I can get Rita of here I will have ger grab a side picture of the teeth. very strange looking teeth.

Feeding snakes is a private thing never to be done in front of the squimish.
and I never ever feed live.
