i should be able to come to this one! i'll have 6 started bantam cochin crosses-3 are pullets and 3 are cockerels, they are now 10 weeks old. my parent birds are NPIP.

i also have a bantam salmon fav cockerel and a d'uccle cockerel-not sure if he would be considered a blue or a lavender since he is so light! both are 10 weeks old as well. if someone is interested in them please let me know so i can bring them.

Shay, those d'uccles that you sold back in February, were they blue or lav?

Shay, those d'uccles that you sold back in February, were they blue or lav?

It is self blue which is lavender in that breed.
in the oegb and d'uccle the self blue is lavender.​

You knwo i feel really bad now, we had acouple peaple stop by asking if the event was today.

if i knew it was going to be like this today , i would have left it on, it is NOT even raining, and it is warmer than yesterday, yea a bit muddy, but still i know someof you could have made money today.

next we go by the morning, and look the sun keeps popping out

Hi all just recieved some bad news,
A half way home/ rehab for Challanged Adults lost their chicken coop and nearly 200 chickens the other night, my daughter just brought it to my attention and I went to the news site to pull it up and sent it to Shay, She asked that I post it here also.
please be warned some of the comments at the bottom of the article are callous and mean.
Jokes about this sort of things should be disallowed b ut they are there. I apologise if anyone is nearly as offended as I was.

I will be collecting donations for them. I have already brought up Heritage Turkey and Geese eggs and a New Incubator.
I want to help them get back on their feet and help rebuild their chicken coop.
the coop was less than 50 ft from the main residence. Thankfully the Fire Dept is one of the best in the state, though the coop was a total loss , the house remained untouched.

Thanks that is so sweet.
thankfully the Hospital Crochet Mountain is going to help them rebuild for their clients.
I am sure the insurance will be a huge help also.
but its comunity and strangers that make the rebuild worth the effort.
