Does anyone remember the post about the place locally whose chicken coop burned down and all the chickens died? I'd like to donate either some eggs or some chicks to them but I can't remember where the post was...

I have 2 or 3 RIR's that apparently are cockerels, not the pullets I was told they were. (Luckily I also got 3 sex links, so I'll still have those). I would like to bring them to this event, but have never done this before. Would that be ok? I am coming from the NE'ern corner of CT. I grew up around the Townsend/Groton area and I am actually going to Pepperell that same afternoon for my cousin's bridal shower, so I'd like to bring my RIR's before the shower.

I know nothing about these chicken swaps. Do you think anyone would want them? They are 5 weeks old now (so will be about 8 weeks old then). Do you think I could posibly trade for a pullet of approx the same age? and preferably a different breed? Don't need 3, just even one would be fine.

for some reason this email is no longr working.
I emailed the to let them know more donations were available., I got a mailer dempon ( grrrr)
I will run up today and see how far they are getting n the coop, they had run into some red tape,( state hospital/housing you undertand)
I will let you know aftr 8 am when I know Abby is there and moving about.
