When I send money to my friend, paypal take a percentage of it out... does that happen to you too? So if I send $15, you'd actually get a bit less? If so I'll look into the percentage to add on so you get your $15.

Shay, I just sent $15.76 through paypal, I *think* from what I read that should equal $15 even. It will say it is from ives6797, that be me

I should've added a note what it was for (on the transaction page), but didn't think of it.

Let me know if you receive it ok.

Is the area you have the bator in really dry? Check the humidity/temp in the room too. We can not put much extra water at hatching at all and if we let the little giant go above 50% they drown and are very sticky. The sportsman is my favorite for everything, but it's a pain if I have to set another batch of eggs and cull out with ones in the hatching tray-lose too much heat/humidity, next year I am just going to invest in the hatcher.

Are they coming through the inner membrane and just not making it through or never get that far? If your aircell is to big at hatching time they may not be able to reach the outer shell without help.

Sorry you are having such a hard time, took us many tries with several bators before we found what worked best for us and the environment here. Than is still sometimes isn't right, this year has been harder than last for us too.

Needed to edit because it's early.....

THe humidity in the living room is allways at about 45-50%, They didnt make it through the membranes and the thing is the membrane was not dry and there was not a lot of moisture in the membrane. Air cells were varied in size. I am wondering if setting them in the egg cartons is the problem??? It just makes it so easy to tip the bator onstead of opening to roll the eggs by hand. I think I will try some eggs on their sides one more time befor I give up. I just feel like I killed them because my biggest fear is not being able to breath for whatever reason and to think of them suffocating really upsets me to the brink of tears.
