I shouldn’t laugh but…ADMITTEDLY I AM DEATHLY AFRAID OF ANY SMALL DOG UNLESS IT IS VERY OLD AND INCAPABLE OF WALKING OVER TO BITE ME.

Even Hobb would, once introduced. Anybody changed as "the giver of treats" would be adored...

They are an awesome breed! They can be easy to train, but stubborn. Consistency is key!I've been considering a corgi for years. Looking forward to knowing more about this adorable breed.
Nice to knowThey are an awesome breed! They can be easy to train, but stubborn. Consistency is key!
Sounds like most herding breeds. Most are bred to think for themselves, and to be pushy. I personally like that type of personality. It's why I love Aussies. They make you think, and out think them. Sounds like Corgi are similar, just shorter. They are an awesome breed! They can be easy to train, but stubborn. Consistency is key!
They sound amazing LOLI had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Einstein, Ein for short. Yes, just like the famous corgi in the anime. He lived to be 13. We started off with sheep herding, then moved over to agility and therapy work. He could tell which collar and leash was for which "job". He loved to visit kids at camp,VBS, or any college destress event. Best question we got was "Where is his tail?". He could never sit still for the reading program though! He also loved going on walks, hiking, or traveling. He even ran a few 5Ks with my mother! ( She was the runner of the family).
They are a wonderful breed. They are easy to train but can be stubborn. Females are also very dominant. If you get one, be VERY CONSISTENT with training. My mom's remembered a "treat" was left on the counter days beforehand! They are smarter than most people give them credit for. And they definitely need a "job". Or at least plenty of walks, outside time or playtime. They are definitely a big dog in a small body!
