I'll definitely have too many LF. I thought 9 roos, 12 pullets. Then Red turned out to be a boy so I have 10 roos, 11 pullets. One of those pullets is an odd color too, but fairly sure that one is a girl. I'll have to see if Dick has any really dark pullets in any of his hatches. Sarah should come see all the colors he has.

Oh Laura, no need for the congrats because to get this one chick I killed the other 11. Remember me, the failed hatching person?? He is sooo lonely, I may have to ask Jackie if she wants him for her son. I think she has some chicks the same age she can put him in with.

You are not the only one having problems with hatches. This last hatch several died in the hatcher

OK. Yeah, than she will sure what to work on more colors

Same here. I should have had 14 hatch. Got 6, then had to cull 2. The rest all died before pipping and no idea why, other than weather. I have another bunch hatching this weekend. If that goes badly too I may hold off on any more until it cools off. It's summertime, and it will be harder to schedule them anyway.

We will have
5 week old Speckled Sussex & Dominique chicks for sale
as well as plant and seed stock, both annuals and perrenials.

And we will start our end of the season sale sometime at Chickenstock... watch for it!!
