Hi Guys,
Is anyone going to the Boston Poultry Show the day after Shays? I need to find some D'uccle MF pullets and I also need more bantie cochin pullets

Just trying to figure out if I should go to Shays stay over night somewhere in MA and then do the show or if I should just go to the show.

who do you contact to have your birds tested??

i suddenly have too many roos - cochin and welsummer ... thinking of eating them but they are very pretty... except they are really beating up the girls...

Are you going to Boston Poultry show or Shay's? If I have Lav Orp eggs I will give you a couple to sneak under a broody or in your bator. I know I will have Giant Lav Cochin project eggs if you would like a couple of those let me know

So you think I should go to both to??? lol Have you decided where your going yet that weekend? I'm still debating on going to both and maybe getting a room near the show. I just read I can coop in my show birds the night before but, I need to see about possible show birds

psss. I forgot to tellyou all is well so far with everyone just the two cochin boys are dissagreeing about who's the top boy through the cage at the girls.....lol sooo funny to watch but, my hubby said the lav is getting a bit pecky so, I put a blanket over the girls. the little black hen was bawking at me as if to say HEY, I don't like not seeing my BF's!!

She is such a character!!!! Love her

But I do hope to go to Shay's Sat and the Boston Poultry show on Sun! It will just depend on how I'm feeling that weekend... and the weather too I suppose.

That's so funny about the cochin girl. She definitely speaks her mind! Maybe the breeder I got her from will show up with more beauties like her for sale at the show. He had a lot of them at the NEPC show.

We have some very nice DUCKLINGS for sale now!

I only have 2 Silky Ducklings left available (the other 4 are already spoken for).
I also have Khaki Campbells, American Buffs, and some beautiful Blue Swedish X Buff hybrids.
All straight run, as they aren't old enough for me to tell gender by thier voices.

If my hatches keep going as well as my last one, i'll have even more of the Khakis, Buffs, and Blue Swedish/Buff mix.


We are also LOOKING FOR a POLISH HEN or Pullet for my son who is desperate to find a Polish for a pet! Must be a female---i have so many roos, i just gave away 3 roos today, and 1 last week. 2 of my 30 hatchery layer chicks also turned out to be roos, so I may have to rehome one of them as well. Ugh! LOL Please let me know if you have a polish female available (age and color don't particularly matter). Thanks!
