I'm also interested in the igloo dog houses. Do you have a measurement of about how big they are? I'm thinking they are sort of round, but how far do they measure from one side to the other? I'm thinking they could be used for raising ducklings in the spring.

But i have to make sure they'll fit where i want to put them.

yes, even if the igloo dog-houses are rectangular, it should still work if they will fit in my space. I just think of igloos as round dome-shaped, with the little projected door on one side, which was why I was assuming these were kind of round.

oh, i may have to buy another bale of hay from you---the one i got got all moldy. Our polebarn is open on two sides, and joins our house on two sides, with the house roof extended over the entire polebarn. In the back corner by the house is where i keep my grain storage cupboard, and i put the hay on top of the cupboard. It's way up off the ground, and way away from the rain, even if the wind blows rain in the open sides of the polebarn, nothing gets wet in the back corner. But I think the horrible humidty from getting so much rain in the last month is what got to the hay.

Thanks HowardAcres for letting me know about the chicken swap I hope to be there. I have a few serama roos. I do not have much to bring but hopefully I can buy some serama hens. This will be my first chicken swap looking foward to it. Hopefully next year I will have some chicks to bring.

Thanks

I have a pair of cochin bantams that I will only sell as a pair, the roo is mottled and extremely friendly, the hen is black birchen and is sweet also. All my roos get along, and I have more roos than hens, so that says a lot. Here are some pics of what I need to sell, they include some modern game bantams, ee crosses, and the cochin pair. I also have 3 dark cornish hens that just started laying.

ETA, the picture of the dark cornish is not the best quality, it was getting dark and the flash did not go off!
