Chickenswaps Of Nh April Swaps

they must have wanted you to hold them all night. lol

OMG, I looked in the bator and the poor chicks foot was stuck to the piece of tape that was on the 1/2 egg cartons to hold the eggs in...good thing I looked. He is fine and no problems with the foot or leg so all is good! I cant wait to see how they look in a few weeks when their feathering comes in. I am thinking they look like the barred rocks but in miniature!

No offense to anyone here, but it works out for me, since Shawn and I will be moving in with my Father-in-law. It's a few weeks earlier than expected, but Hey, it's family. See ya'll at Chichester.

Yup, all are looking good, and are in lock-down. I doubt we can keep all 18(if they all hatch) so you will be able to see them in person.

So can't wait. Love Cochins. The chicks are part of an order that was placed with us at the concord swap. A gentleman came by with his wife and asked us about chick orders through hatcheries, and how to raise chickens for meat & eggs. He also asked about how to get a starter flock started, so we gave him info on the topic, and he asked if we'd order the chicks and brood them for him. He order 10 boys and 10 girls!

Soooo, I will have about 12 Extra Jersey Giant Girls.

Oh Boy! Thats a lot of chicken! I was going to bring my little pigeons to the Chichester swap for you to see and critique for me. I know nothing about pigeons, but fell in love with this pair when I saw them. But if you think it may stress them out, I wont bring them. I dont want them getting sick, I can bring pictures I guess.

They should be fine for the trip. We have to drive 3 hours for the closest pigeon show. You'd be surprized about the conditions some pigeon people transport/house their pigeons in. I'd be honored to take a look at them. Do you know if they are a pair?

Too dark to see anything but they dont smell so in they go.
I bought a fan for the hoverbator and hopefully I have a better hatch rate.
