I think Wendy actually and Nanna posted the numbers before I had a chance! It is a very simple procedure and the testers are so quick and thorough and are happy to answer all questions! You will be glad you did it. And they arrive promptly at the scheduled time so be ready to roll! I got my card and paperwork yesterday and felt like I got a good report card from school! LOL

Your welcome. They just draw a little blood from each bird over 20 weeks and band it at the same time. Doesn't take long at all. Hopefully I will have my certificate the beginning of the week. Atleast by having this done, we know we are selling healthy birds. Like some one said, you have your dogs and cats tested why not your birds also.

Hoping to see everyone in the morning in Tilton. I think I may be coming down with pnumonia though. Shortness of breath and hurts to breath in ....this weather is not helping me much. I am also beginning to weeze and cough. So if it is as raw as it has been the last 2 days, I might stay home, but then I am afraid I may miss something I gotta have! Plus I need feed too. Does anyone know where I can buy pigeon feed? TSC only carries small bags of a dive mix, but it doesnt have thos Canada peas in it and I was told that the pigeons like that!

Darbella, you could always ask them if they would carry it for you. I did that with the large bags of crushed oyster shells and they were good about that. They are much more economical to buy with the large sizes though the big bags are harder to load. I wish they had more helpers that way.

Oh well, had to cut it short at the Tilton swap this morning, daughter called to say that 2 of the chicks that hatched ot in the doghouse the last few days managed to escape from under their mom and are running amuck in the yard and woods. She tried to catch them, but to no avail! We got home and sure enough, mother hen is sitting at the entrance to the doghouse with a bunch of teeny chicks piled onto her back looking out into their new world! I cannot find the others that went MIA, but did see a chipmunk with rather fat cheeks peek out from a nearby rotten log!
