Well, little man got out of his tub/cage and was terrorizing the serama roo and his gals in the little coop! I had to make sure the cover was tied down when I pur him back in. I wormed him and gave him his iver-on treatment even though we didnt see any creepie crawlies. I like to treat anyway just in case! He has a good appetite and will be getting dubbed on friday or Saturday hopefully to clean up that frostbitten comb! My mother hen was getting off her nest to eat on a pretty regular basis, so she had really good body weight believe it or not. I have got the wierdest birds. My 2 auacanas are so friendly and so is the silkie/polish hen they are in with. but they seem to drink sooo much water! I hope my new bator arrives tomorrow cause i have 4 dozen more eggs waiting on the coffee table! hee hee
sounds like the little man was trying to take over lol. I too dust everyone I buy just in case. you know someone who dubs? glad your mom is eating. that is unusual. I love my auacana. is yours getting red under the chin? mine is. do you think we could find someone to remove the crow if necessary? I really want to keep this one. it is so sweet! you picked one out for me with a great personality for sure. cheryl came home from the swap with 4 doz eggs also. you guys are too funny!!!!! we really do need a support group. " step away from the chicken"
I dont see any red, but the 2 I have are sooo friendly, they jump out the door of the cage looking for attention. The black silkie/polish cross is also so nice too that I got that day!
