OH my gosh they are gorgeous!
You have control of her head, right? Generally dogs prefer to go where their heads go. Keep walking.Keep walking, and she can choose to walk or get dragged?
Stand still and read a book until she gets tired of sitting?
Watch for when she's going to do it, and command her to "sit" and "stay," then keep her staying for long enough that she wants to walk when you tell her to?
Pick her up and carry her if she won't walk?
Toss a treat on the ground a few feet in front of her?
The "best" answer would depend on how much time you have for each walk, and how much you are trying to train her to do things versus just managing the current situation. And the "best" answer might not be any of the things I thought of![]()
Make sure this is not pain-driven. Check her pads, and legs all the way up to her spine. How old is she? If she is not in pain, is it possible she is just training you?ND likes to just,,,,,,,sit down if she doesn't want to go where I'm going (the direction that we need to walk) what to do about this?

Labradoodles are mixed breeds and don’t have a set look. Especially first generation ones. What generation is she? She's apparently a labradoodle, but tbh doesn't look much like a labradoodle to me, but might just be one that ends up with a flat coat
Nope, she has a harness, but no head collar. You have control of her head, right? Generally dogs prefer to go where their heads go. Keep walking.
