Took the GSP on a walk in the woods today! My friend tagged along because she loves the woods. Everyone enjoyed it. No idea how long it was, but it was really fun. Her pulling isn't unmanageable, but she is still constantly at the end of the leash (which is ridiculously short because there are knots in it for some reason) and putting pressure on her face from the headcollar. My friend actually enjoyed it (instead of begrudgingly enjoying it). I think that what she really needs is to be turned around every time she's pulling. I don't do this nearly enough because my friend thinks that it's annoying. However, today she agreed that she'd enjoy walking the dog in the woods and it's worth it to train her to walk nicely. When we start doing this, I'll bring one of our 29357239047 leashes that's a bit longer.

GSP is the only dog that I've walked that doesn't explore the world with her nose to the ground- she just pauses to sniff every now and then.
