as long as each dog is well behaved and managed, there is no "limit". I know sport people who have 6+ dogs

They are So cute. And not those stupid ill bred one (those are UGLY), but well bred boston terriers. They are terriers still, they can do all SORTS of stuff even with that cute smushy face (Not being able to do as many sports with the squishy face is what puts me off from breeds like the frenchie)..

Adult retrievers, or your puppy in particular?

Puppies of any breed tend to be rounder than adults of the same breed.

And the hair on the adults can also change how round they look.

I think that I just had a total misconception of the standards lol (or at least the english ones, if they're different)
