Yep! My family is currently planning to get a golden puppy this spring or summer (not the first time with a dog or the breed) and will most likely be using the breeder that we've used in the past, who gave us an amazing, sweet golden who didn't have any hip, eye, or cancer issues and lived 16ish years. They know specifically that the breeder breeds to avoid hip problems, etc. I was too young to remember his puppy days, so it will be my first real time with a puppy.

nel laid her first <3 I went out for my afternoon cuddles, I heard the egg song, counted 4 layers next to me, so I went to investigate

German are a totally different breed too but I’m sure you maybe just missed that part ? Just don’t want people to be confused hahah With the Belgian Shepherds, there’s 4 varieties of the same breed, but in the U.S. they are separated into 4 separate breeds for some reason. Dutch Shepherds are technically a separate breed but are quite similar to Belgians especially the Malinois and are often crossed in KNPV lines which is a Dutch police/working type line. You can get both of them in one litter which gets confusing. German Shepherds are completely separate but they have many of their own lines too which can also get equally confusing. like there’s American Show and Pet lines (which tend to be nervy messes but not always hahah), West German Show and Working, East German, DDR/Czech, crosses of them, etc. If I ever got one, I think I would get either a WGWL or a cross of WGSL and WGWL hahah

Apparently he (past dog) was boarded with them at one point, and had a whole room all to himself.

their natural gait doesn't line up with ours, they are naturally inclined to move faster. They are also exited, trying to go faster, trying to get to the dog up the street....

most doodle breeders just want money. I have been looking forever trying to find a doodle breeder to share with people who wont budge on wanting a doodle, but i cannot find one that does appropriate health testing, or any titles proving their dogs have stable temperments

I can find a much better quality pure bred, with a stable temperment

They do exist! There were a few cool ones I’ve found but I forget the names right now. I’ll have to try to find them. There was one that was big with sporting peeps haha
