My friend just got her two bernedoodle puppies and I"m in love

All my friends have been getting puppies. So far:
-1 person got a yellow lab pup last years
-1 person got a chocolate lab pup last year
-1 person got a labradoodle pup this year (ND)
-1 person got two bernedoodle pups just yesterday
-1 person is going to get a doberman (this person currently has a chihuahua and a pomeranian, so I'm interested to see how this goes)

I've had two dobes. They are wonderful, loving dogs.

Absofruitly thrilled to have found this, because:
-Everyone says that this guy is a great trainer
-it's dealing with an adult dog that has no training at all
-the dog has issues with pulling on the leash and getting overexcited when meeting other dogs (both important & difficult (IMO) things to train)
-!!!!! dog has issues with going after birds and will need to be trained not to do this!!!

I've had two dobes. They are wonderful, loving dogs.

But would they play too rough with a pomeranian and a chihuahua?

he brought his puppy to a dog park, his dog attacked a dog. Dog parks are a HUGE no no in dog training, he did it anyways as a dog trainer. His dog is what? How old... I'd expect a professional dog trainer to have a better behaved dog. Especially since he got her as a puppy. She still has horrible behavior issues. Like resource guarding, horrible impulse control, can't even do a focused heel through a crowd.

Ummmm.... Maybe. It really depends on the dog. Our first dobe played rougher with one dog who was younger, but somehow knew to play more gently with an older dog. She also played more roughly with my husband than with me.

Is the Dobe going to be a puppy? Then they're about the same size, and can be trained. Also, don't underestimate little dogs. Our neighbor had a Chihuahua that "had a Napoleon complex" and my Dobe was terrified of it.
