Chickentrain's Dog Q&A

Malamutes, especially males, can have some same sex aggression tendencies (idk about huskies or akitas), so that could also bar you from competition, but of course not just fun practice!
Akitas might be as well, might need to look in to that

Yes. Canicross is a type of dryland mushing, as well as bikejoring, scootering and using a sled type thing with wheels.
Cool!!
Which are you going to use?
Don't mind me, I just totally want to do draft with one of these:

Probably a scooter or the sled type thing not sure yet. The sled would be more sturdy but would be larger, scooter would be smaller but less sturdy. I am trying to go somewhere to try it first and see if I even like mushing.

I like the carts as well, but that needs a bigger dog then I will probably end up with

That's probably a good idea

A malamute could probably do draft. I'd like to get into it with bernese mountain dog/s

A bit worried about malamutes since I have a dog all ready, and we want another female. Maybe a Leonberger, but then again I really want another spitz
I need too many dogs

They're pretty medium, but they're apparently more trainable than some other spitzes and they're sled pullers
