Chickie Itchies!?

One of our 5 chicks has been rolling in the grass when I take her outside. She is a Silver Laced Wyandotte and about 3 to 4 weeks old. I tried to check for any mites or anything but did not see anything. She is acting normal other than that. Any ideas on whats going on??

Hi and welcome to BYC! We're glad you joined us! I agree, it sounds like she's dust bathing. It can look really bizarre if you've never seen it before. Sometimes they'll stretch out their wings to sun themselves and they look, well... dead. Chickens can be so weird.
