Chickens don’t get colds so it sounds like the may have respiratory disease - I know @Eggcessive is good at these things

Yes that what it is
Please post some photos of the sick birds.

Chickens don't get colds. Respiratory diseases cause symptoms, sometimes housing with poor ventilation and too much poop can cause symptoms. Other things like mold might cause some symptoms as well, BUT respiratory disease is most common.

Sounds like you have an illness that's running through your flock. If it's Mycoplasma, then you can use Tylan 50 to treat birds. It's given orally since it's given 3 times a day, you sure wouldn't want to inject a bird that many times a day.
Dose is .25ml per pound of weight given orally 3 times a day for 5 days in a row.

Antibiotics treat symptoms, they are not a cure. If eyes are swollen, have bubbles or pus, they need to be cleaned/flushed out and pus pressed out and removed. An eye ointment like Terramycin needs to be put in the eyes. Do this 2-3 times a day. An antibiotic alone will not dry up pus in eyes, it needs to be physically removed.
