In a week or so I'll be putting my 4 Girls out in their coop/enclosed run. We have many Aspen trees that come up from runners. Is it safe for my Girls to chew on the baby trees/leaves, etc.? Aspen shavings come from Aspen trees, right?
I'm hoping the Girls will keep the baby trees in check.

I haven't been able to find anything stating that Aspens are toxic. I think you are safe.
