So I took my chicks outside yesterday for some bonding time. I sat on the ground and made a "leg circle" and let the chickies play and jump all over me. Then I got nervous because I saw my cat Suzie a.k.a. Suzie Snuggles coming over. So she came up and started rubbing on my arm and back. I picked up a chick and held it out for her to see, and oh my, she started rubbing on her too. It was the cutest thing.

We brought home 3 pekin ducklings yesterday and one of my cats sat by the box rubbing the box and would not leave their side. Cats are not always predatory.
