Hello!
I'm not totally sure where to put this thread...

I currently have a lonely quail who has been badly bullied by her coop mates... she has a plucked head and neck and the end of her beak has been broken off. She has been separated but I don't have any pens to put her in except a cat carrier which is too small for her to live in for much longer. She is eating fine and is alert and happy.

last week I got 2 new chicks, they are about 2 weeks old and they were housed with some larger quail chicks when I got them. The quail and chicks are housed in the same room and have met each other during their daily clean out. I'm wondering if id be able to house the 3 together? the quail is very shy but much bigger than the chicks. I don't want any of them getting hurt but am interested in what people have to say. they will be kept separate unless I know it would be better for them to be together.

I currently cannot have them on runs on the lawn as we are in the last few weeks of bird lockdown :( but once that isn't an issue the quail will be able to run outside. I just don't want her to be lonely.
