Chicks and snack worms

Hello Peeps,
I have no idea how old my chicks are, I have had them for two weeks and they are both getting tail feathers, if that helps to figure out their age. Anyhoo...When can I feed these little nuggets worms? What kinds of worms should I feed them? What are the best kinds of veggies to feed my girls? Can anyone recommend a good book on how to raise a chick? Thank you for your help!!!
