*CHICKS are HERE!!!* Egg Candling Pics: Progression Though Incubation

Pics
One more question, I had one egg hatch on day 21 and it is doing just fine. But I have 4 more in the bator with him and he is kind of knocking them around. Is this ok or do I need to get him out?

I couldn't help it! I successful candled all 14 of my eggs, and they all have veins and eyes!!! It's day five and mine look just like the picture in the original thread. I'm very excited.

I'm also very nervous, one of my bigger eggs has developed the same as the rest but there's a hairline fracture in the large end of the egg. Is there anything I can do to keep it going?! It's got a little eye, I must save it!

Some say you can put wax on a hairline fracture to seal it... but I've not tried it myself. If it's just a superficial hairline crack... I'd let it be.

I put wax on the fracture to seal it, however, my newbie-ness may have been a bit extreme and put too much on. Plus I used candle wax, because that was all I had. I'm going to remove it carefully and replace it with beeswax once I get some, apparently that is thought to be better, I've heard.

And I have to shout to the world that I got my first egg ever from my big girls today! I feel so official now!

I'd not bother changing the wax. The less you handle the eggs, the better. You don't want to seal up too many pores with wax or oils as the egg needs to breathe.

watch an fallow thro every video of chick development...very freaking awesome..never have i ever seen anything like this way of hatching chicks..

It's been day 6 of these eggs being incubated. Do u guys think that there is any thing developing
