Well, they got here on Monday, but I've been entirely too busy with kidding season to post! All 26 chicks arrived alive despite the ridiculous cold! We did lose one the next day, and I believe it was the freebie they sent. Looking at pics I think it was a Silver Polish or Crevecour or something like that. *shrug* This may make me sound like a terrible person, but if one was going to die I'd rather it be the freebie. At any rate the rest are alive and doing fantastic it seems! I've identified the Barred Rock chicks, the Golden Wyandottes, and the Delawares. The Buff Orps and Red Stars not real sure which is which. Then the EE's, Speckled Sussex and Welsummers I'm lost as well lol. I know the EE's will have the fluffy cheeks but they all look alike lol. I'll probably when they all get feathered out.
