chicks are on the way home..

We weren't expecting them for another three days (12 little new fuzzy bums.) so we are kinda unprepared. I was wondering about maybe making a homemade waterer/feeder any ideas?? and can someone tell me the temperatures they are going to need for the next weeks.

For a waterer you could use a shallow dish with marbles in it. That way they couldnt drown. and for a feeder a very shallow bowl or pan would work. I sometimes use the shallow boxes from the Walmart meat department the ones pork comes in I use them for feeding greens to my geese too.

Alright I got 'em and I have a feeder,light, and waterer all set up for them in thier new home...I will be posting pictures soon...they are so adorable. I LOVE CHICKS!!!!!!!
