Chicks arrived (pic)!

Got my chicks from MPC yesterday and they are so cute! Thought I'd share this pic of my favorite little guy. I ordered 'rare breeed assortment', I'm guessing EE on this one.

I don't understand how an EE would be considered a rare breed though?????

I'm so envious of those brave enough to mail order chicks. I'm a chicken so far only getting at my local feed stores.

The free chick can be rare or unusual. I guess an EE is unusual because it can lay a colored egg.​
