Chicks arriving!!! NEED ADVICE!!!!!

My black star hen is about to hatch baby chicks

and i need some advice about what to do. anything will help.

Hens are awesome mamas so really there is not much to do. with mine, i keep checking and i do remove broken egg shells so as not to attract flies, etc. but other than that she should be fine. Its so fun and awesome to watch your hen take care of her babies and know just what to do. good luck and enjoy!

Well, you don't really need to do much - let Mama Hen do most of it. Make sure they have a waterer in which they cannot drown (use marbles if necessary). For food, either chick starter or a grower formula will work for both Mama and babies. Other than that, it is the same as for any other chicken - make sure they have a safe place to live, and enjoy.
