Chicks born end of April - food question

My chicks were born at the end of April. They appear to be molting. They free range and I feed them nutrena chick starter grower. My question is this...can I mix in some nutrena feather fixer with their regular feed to help them - the directions state it is for chicks 16 weeks or older and they aren't quite there yet. If not, is there something else I can feed them?

Just keep feeding chick grower; they loose feathers several times while growing, it's normal. Mary
