chicks came in, one won't eat, advice?

I got lucky. My welp chicks were all good. I had one that wouldn't drink or eat. After the 3rd day she was left alone by everyone and was a little unsteady on her feet. I took her out and gave her electrolyte's. She perked up about an hour later. I just keep the pedialyte unflavored on hand. Some people don't agree with that. But it worked for me and my chick. Good luck with your baby.

i let her back in the cage last night and she seemed to be doing better, but this morning when I woke up I saw that she didn't make it through the night. The other 3 are as healthy as can be. hopefully my next shipment doesn't turn out the same way.

Can she see? Perhaps she is blind. A number of members here have gotten and raised blind chickies.

i'm pretty sure she could see. when she did open her eyes i could move my finger past her and she would follow it. I saw her move to the waterer and drink my herself once in a while too. she was the weakest one still alive when i got her. I thought she might have been blind too, thats why i was seeing if she would follow my finger.
