Chicks Die at same time

So basically what they are saying is at that temp humans will also straight up die....

It's just a slow death for us till then....
Which is ok with THE CORPORATE GOVERNING BODY.

Sorry. Rant over.

How were you heating your brooder? (This is reminiscent of a previous thread where the OP had changed their heating lamp with one that was Teflon coated. Teflon, when heated gives off toxic fumes which will quickly kill chicks/chickens.)
Very reminiscent of the story of the teflon coated bulb. That was so sad. It serves as a warning.

So sorry for your loss. Were the chick’s brooder near a sunny window where they may have become too hot from the sunlight? Was there any mold from spilled food and water? I would try to call your state poultry vet to get a necropsy on couple of the chicks to find a cause of death. It would seem very odd for a disease such as coccidiosis to have killed all of them at once. Is your heat lamp easpecially for chicken heat lamps? What was the wattage?

We had our chickens in a brooder box in the house. we started cooking and we heard noise in the broader box. So, we went to check on the chickens and noticed that they were lying on their sides kicking. Then we realized they were dying at the same time. couldn't figure it out until we realized when we started cooking this happened. We thought it was the food or water but it wasn't. So we looked online to see what we did wrong and still no answer. Until we saw an article on Teflon. That's when we realized that we bought a Stove Protector made out of Teflon. That's when we realized the fumes from the Teflon killed all 21 chickens within minutes. It was the 1st time using this product.
