I didn't know you could store eggs so for 3 days I put eggs in the bator, having 3 hatch days. I had one chick hatch from the last day with liquid in the shell. They have been hatching a day late so my temps must have been low. I realize these guys got 2 less days to loose liquid. Is there anything I can do to try and save them? I hate the idea that they are probably drowning once they pip. :-/

You can try poking a small hole in the fat part of the egg so you poke it in the air cell. That way, they can still get fresh air when they internal pip even if the air cell is small.

There is a fairly wide range of what works as far as how much moisture they have to lose, so it may not be as bad as you think. At least I hope not. Good luck!

Thank you! I did that to one egg and it hatched great! There wasn't any extra liquid in that egg and it was laid the same day as the one with liquid. I feel a lot better. I have another one hatching now :-)
