Nope, they are fine. Did you get the grit?

Yeah I got the one from pets at home. I did use a mortar and pestle to break it down a bit as the pieces looked a little large. Not sure how much I’m supposed to give but I gave them probably a small handful over the course of the day.

A pinch on top of the food every few days is how I do it. Or you can have it on the side, though I usually switch to doing that once they're older and on bigger grit.

They will be fine, they are most likely tearing the paper towel and not really eating it. You only need chick grit when you feed them something other than their chick starter. Sprinkle some grit, even dirt on whatever treats you give them. They are resilient little buggers!
