Chicks eating dandelion seeds and peddles?

Every time I bring my chicks outside I pick 3 opened dandelions, 3 not opened dandelions, and 3 part seeding dandelions. Is it OK if they eat the pedals and seeds of the dandelions or should I just stop doing this.

Dandelions won't hurt them, but with the luck you've been having lately, it may be best to not introduce new foods until they are older. Just to be safe.

Can you seperate the seeds from the fluffy white part for them?

The seeds and greens sound super healthy, even the flowers too in moderation, assuming it hasn't been fertilized with toxic chemicals. That white part is suspect if they eat a lot of it because it looks like it could become like a tangled mess.
