Chicks eating wild mushrooms! HELP!

One of my 5 week old chicks ate a wild mushroom out in the yard. What will it do to her??

Do you know what type of mushrooms they are? If they aren't harmful, then she should be fine. Chickens are usually pretty good about avoiding toxic plants.

I'm not sure. It was about an inch tall with a brown color to it. She was running around with it in her mouth.

do you have a picture? does it have ridges and valleys? does it have a smooth surface are there more?

You can google mushrooms, with photos, and get some idea of the variety. If she's still alive and eating, that's a very good thing...

Im sorry I couldn't find any more to get a picture. But if I remember correctly it had a smooth surface.
