Chicks from broody hen

Hi,

Can you take chicks off a hen when they are born? Bantam pekin has hatched 11 out of 13, one egg to go. Worried some may get cold and die as may be too many. What are others thoughts? Thanks

I’d let momma do her thing. We just let a broody momma raise and we had a few cooler nights, she sat on the remaining eggs AND kept her babies warm.

What’s the temp supposed to drop to?

You can but I would keep them with her if possible. If all fit under her then she should be able to keep them all warm
